![]() Scout Class - Easy to Moderate Challenge.Soviet Union Machines come in three different Classes that determines their level of difficulty to take on and scrap/destroy. Firebird - Quad-jet UAVs for aerial reconnaissance & fire support.Lynx - Robots using balls to move that can deploy from Wolves and hunt in groups.Wolf - Large, treaded quadrupeds equipped with missiles and Gatling guns.Ballistic weapons apply status effects to players when hit, adding damage over time. Components take serious focus fire to destroy. Uses weapons notorious at killing fleshy humans. Apocalypse Class* - Hard to Extreme Challenge.Drops early-late game to late game gear when destroyed. Heavily armored, wide range weaponry for many situations, greatly improved health pool, tough components. FNIX Class - Moderate to Hard Challenge.Frequently uses more devastating weaponry to take you down. Starting to armor up, slightly harder to destroy components, higher health pool. Military Class - An Easy to Moderate challenge.Very little armor, weak components, and low health pools. Prototype Class - Easiest Challenge available.Tank - Gigantic, armless bipeds with heavy weapons and a terrifyingly fast running speed.įNIX Machines come in three classes (four if you have the Alpine Unrest DLC* - see class marked with asterisk that requires DLC to appear) that determines their level of difficulty to take on and scrap/destroy.Harvester - Large, grazing quadrupeds meant to gather resources, but can also call reinforcements and shoot missiles.Hunter - Tall humanoids that can shoot players from a distance and wield pneumatic blades.Runner - Dog-like quadrupeds that hunt in packs.Seeker - Small, non-combatant tripeds that hover in the air and scout for prey.Tick - Tiny, spider-like quadrupeds that throw themselves at players.The player's character is tasked with both surviving the machines' uprising and solving the mysteries behind it all. Once the Soviet Union took notice, they partnered with NATO and developed their own series of machines to stop FNIX. Unfortunately, once the experimental AI FNIX got loose, "he" took control of the machines and began using them to exterminate humanity and expand his reach. In the alternate timeline of Generation Zero, the Swedish military was developing the machines to be used on the battlefield.
